Informed Pierce County - WA School Parents Purpose is to positively inform the community of various information, and to discuss concerns/soluti Check it out and LIKE!

Here is something new to positively educate parents in Pierce County, WA and to have engaging parental community input on a range of Education issues. As opposed to top-down communication that we see from Districts. I hope this might cut through apathy/indifference that is so often prevalent. No bashing of School District personnel or teachers will be allowed. Constructive Criticism of policies and approaches is different.

2015 will be a big year for Common Core, Smarter Balanced Cut Scores, Local School District Construction Bond proposals, McCleary-Basic Ed, and 1351 Funding (or lack thereof). Oh yeah, be sure to vote in the next Construction Bond election so we can take care of our overcrowding problems!
