Our second week of the 2026–2027 school 🏫 year was filled with exploring our indoor and outdoor classrooms and discovering all the exciting learning opportunities each space has to offer! ❤️

🎨 In our Art Room, we practiced using just a dot of glue and explored stickers while working on our fine motor skills and independence.

🧪 In our STEM Room, we had fun mixing colors with paint and building the first letter of our names using crayons 🖍️. We explored creativity, problem-solving, and early literacy skills all through hands-on learning!

🏃‍♀️ In our Gross Motor Room, we climbed, jumped, and practiced throwing and catching while building strength, coordination, balance, and confidence.

🌿 Outdoors, we explored our amazing play spaces and all of the teachable moments they create. From searching for and learning more about bugs 🐞 to developing gross and fine motor skills, our outdoor classrooms provide endless opportunities to learn through play and exploration.

Just Being Kids 🫧🐞

Bubbles, bugs 🐞, mud, water play, and LOADS of smiles! 💦🫧

Sometimes the best learning happens when children are simply being kids—getting messy, exploring, discovering, laughing, and enjoying the world around them. 🌿💚

Nature Finds & Baby Smiles 🌿🐌

A week full of nature finds and the sweetest baby smiles! 💚

Our little explorers found loads of slugs 🐌, tons of worms 🪱, a few different beetles 🪲, a very jumpy grasshopper 🦗, and even a tiny toad 🐸 this week!

And not pictured… two beautiful red foxes 🦊 playing along the border of our nature trail! What an incredible sight! 😍

Each of these nature finds sparked conversations, questions, and investigations as our children observed and learned more about the fascinating creatures living right in our own outdoor classroom. 🌿🔎

Meanwhile, our littlest learners were full of smiles as they closely watched their older classmates discover and explore. There is something so special about learning together and sharing these magical moments with friends! 🥰🌱

Another wonderful week of exploring, discovering, and learning in nature! 🌳✨

What a beautiful morning for a Nature Trail Play Date! 🌿☀️

It was so wonderful watching our little learners and their grown-ups explore, play, and enjoy our outdoor classroom spaces together.
The morning was filled with bug 🐞 hunting, nature exploration, climbing, balancing, running, and plenty of opportunities to build gross motor skills—all while making memories with friends and enjoying the wonderful company of our Linda's House 🏠 families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a fun-filled morning in nature. We can't wait for our next adventure together! 💚

Positive reinforcement goes a long way when working with young children! 🌟

Our preschoolers worked incredibly hard to be responsible, respectful, safe, and kind. By consistently demonstrating these important behaviors, they filled their pom-pom jar one pom-pom at a time! 🎉

To celebrate all of their hard work and teamwork, they earned a glow dance party! 💃🕺✨

Positive reinforcement helps children build confidence, develop self-control, and understand that their choices matter. We are so proud of the kindness, responsibility, and respect our preschoolers show each day! 💛

Our littlest learners are loving their new infant/toddler play space nestled in the shade along our nature trail! 🌿💚

From building with wooden blocks and exploring ramps to enjoying wide-open spaces filled with natural shade, every day brings new opportunities for learning through play.

A special thank you to Mr. Craig for creating such an amazing space for our youngest learners, complete with their very own tent and cozy reading nook! ⛺📚 Your hard work has given our children a safe, inviting environment where they can explore, imagine, and grow.

We are so grateful for this beautiful addition to our outdoor classroom! 🌳✨

Only in New England! 🌦️

We started the week with a rainstorm ☔ that brought hours of puddle jumping, bug hunting, and plant exploration. The children were especially excited to discover mushrooms 🍄 popping up everywhere after all the rain! 🌧️

We ended the week in our bathing suits 👙, splashing in cool water 💦 while soaking up the warm sunshine. 🌞

There are so many benefits to playing outdoors in all types of weather. Rainy days spark curiosity, encourage scientific exploration, and provide wonderful sensory experiences. Sunny days offer opportunities for water play, gross motor development, and cooling off while building friendships and making lasting memories.

No matter the forecast, every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow! ❤️
