We kicked off our 2026-27 PAT Group Connection series in GRAND fashion by celebrating our Grandparents! Our theme this year was "The Apple of My Eye." We enjoyed hearing an interactive apple counting story, read by our beloved Mrs. Michelle Flehmer Hilburn, with assistance from Farmer Cy. Then we had fun with our grandparents at apple-themed activity stations where we picked apples, made apple pie, played an apple orchard board game, and painted apples for our grandparents to keep. We also had a tea party and, of course, posed for LOADS of pictures. Special thanks to our amazing helpers for making this evening possible: Julie Ball, Jessica Veith, Rebecca Schallert Webb, Renae Preuss-Neill , Khloe Keeling, Michelle Hilburn, and student helpers Brooklyn P., Emily H., Jaelynn W., Laura P., Sophee H., Emma M., Ximena P., and Anna R.

What a fun and FREE family opportunity!!

Start your Fourth of July celebrations with an American classic and a fun morning at Morgan’s Hollow Bookstore.

Join us at 9:00 AM for a free special pop-up story time featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Families are invited to settle in for a reading of this beloved children’s book, followed by simple themed activities, photo opportunities, and a chance for little ones to explore, create, and imagine.

Guests can enjoy our caterpillar balloon arch, take photos at our “grow into a butterfly” wing station, and receive free stickers and bookmarks while supplies last. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly way to kick off your holiday before parades, cookouts, and fireworks, celebrating the joy of reading and one of the most cherished children’s stories of all time.

We hope you’ll start your Independence Day with us at 9:00 AM.

The ducklings are coming to Morgan’s Hollow!

This Thursday, June 25 at 5:00 PM, we’ll be reading Make Way for Ducklings and welcoming two real ducklings for the kids to meet! We’ll have themed snacks and plenty of opportunities for photos.
