đ¤ŁBut, so true!
Reposting by request...
Holding tryouts for my 2-year-old Select Elite Showcase Scout team. Players must be well rounded, extremely athletic and already committed to DI schools. We prefer that the player is already potty-trained but open to development if player fits our mold. We will travel to 96 tournaments and play close to 2,000 games in 2018. Most of our 15 coaches played high school JV baseball but wouldâve been DI college recruits or even drafted if they didnât get hurt their senior year of JV Ball.
We are looking for exit velo of at least 95-98mph, spin rate of 2,750-3,000 and launch angle of 75 degrees!!!
Players are required to make a choice between KinderCare or playing full-time travel ball. We will practice 5 hours per day and CrossFit each morning at 5am.
We will have 13 different uniforms and bat bags that are at least three times bigger than the players.
For players under 2-years-old, we have our Elite Diaper Development Team.
Please contact us at Colorado Baby Elite if interested.

I donât get itâŚ.the people and âcoachesâ in this town who talk bad about the Colorado Stingers Girls Fastpitch Organization, especially when I hear its middle school coaches persuading girls to go play for club teams âthat can better their exposureââŚ.I get angry because of the amount of time my family, and fellow coaches DONATE to Pueblo youth. Colorado Stingers has always been and will always be a PUEBLO team. To hear people say âwell now the Stingers are a South feeder teamâ is comical because I coach because I love the game. I donât care what high school you go to, but I also stay loyal to the people who stay loyal to me. Over the years Iâve learned a lot, but nothing prepares you for the betrayal by some of the people youâve known your entire life and those whom you considered family.
For the âcoachesâ talking smack and to those if you whom Iâve spent time, money, and treated your daughters as my own, only to have to keep your mouths shut and listen to the nonsense, LOOK AT WHAT ORGANIZATION IN THIS TOWN HAS NEVER CHANGED ITS NAMEâŚSINCE 1987!!! Then, look at the list of Collegiate Softball players from Pueblo Colorado, then ask who started them, who developed them and believed in themâŚ.thatâs rightâŚover 95% Stingers!!! We have athletes playing in college todayâŚStingers! So, you can talk a big game but until you can produce what we have, keep changing your names.
âYou can put a lipstick on a pig but itâs still a pig!â
37 Years and Strong! Same name, same coaches, same outcome= Successful!

One of my friends asked "Why do you pay so much money for your kids to do all their sportsâ?
Well I have a confession to make; I don't pay for my kids to to do sports. Personally, I couldn't care less about what sport they do.
So, if I am not paying for sports what am I paying for?- I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don't.
- I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are "too tired" to go to their training but they go anyway.
- I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined, focused and dedicated.
- I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body and equipment.
- I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates, gracious in defeat and humble in success.
- I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get that placing or title they'd hoped for, but still they go back week after week giving it their best shot.
- I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.
- I pay for my kids to respect, not only themselves, but other athletes, officials and coaches.
- I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours, years and years of hard work and practice to create a champion and that success does not happen overnight.
- I pay for my kids to be proud of small achievements, and to work towards long term goals.
- I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships, create lifelong memories, to be as proud of their achievements as I am.
- I pay so that my kids can be out on the field or in the gym instead of in front of a screen...
..I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for sports; I pay for the opportunities that sports provides my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!

When people break a contract for using derogatory phrases and our organization has purchased 2 sets of custom uniforms (with names), including belts, two customized socks, sweatsuit, helmets, helmet stickers, paid for usage of indoor facility for 3 days a week for 4 months, Ruyon fees, insurance, brand new age divisions needed full equipment including catching gear because we threw together a team the very last minute so these girls could play even though we have already had our hands full and so much more, and parents call to get a commitment fee back, please remember that the fee is to keep kids/parents accountable so when these binding contracts are signed and returned, it clearly states that there will be NO REFUNDS! I donât believe in taking away tournament fees from the players that are withholding their end of the contracts (maintaining GPA as well) because people no longer make their children accountable. This has been the same contract since 1986 . We work hard to make sure no matter the high school they will or do attend, their economic background, ethnicity, or social status, play NO part in determining whether or not a young lady gets to be part of a traveling softball club. I wish parents would make their children accountable so this would be a non-issue. We do this because we love it and I need to get better at looking at players that âteam
hopâ and realize that the Stingers will be no different and some people are impossible to please and deal with.
Below is just one example of the 6 pages that parents and players sign, so when we get put on blast for clearly stating our expectations and sticking with them, the Facebook world can see that people love to talk when they donât get their way but sit silently when all this time is DONATED!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, to our 14U Stingers (Coach Aubrey Nicole White) who had their season opener last night and took the âWâ!
These girls and their coaches have been putting in a lot of hard work and it shows! Congratulations, 14U Stingers/White! Keep it up!
We apologize for the placement delay. Our coaches will be in contact and you will get a follow up call from all age divisions. Weâve been finishing up try-outs for those who were out of town or family emergencies, etc. You will hear from us this weekend but there werenât cuts, we did just placements based on player ability. Enjoy your night and thank you for your patience.
