Design students! Come have lunch with the Dean tomorrow, December 9 from 12:30-1:30p. Then, on Friday December 10, come check out the Pop-up concert (with treats!) at 4:00pm. Both events will be held in the B.F. Larsen Gallery. As you head into finals week we want you all to remember that you belong here and you matter here. We hope to see you all there!

With the holiday’s around the corner, BYU Industrial Design is having a chair sale starting tomorrow, December 3rd through December 4th from 6-9pm. There are 4 different chair designs, each being sold for $75. Stop in at the pop drop to look at the chairs and get one for yourself!

Talent award applications are due tonight! Submit your portfolio and you may receive scholarship money for your hard work. Students can be awarded over $1,000 in scholarships and there are over $250,000 available in awards. Applications will close tonight at 11:59pm.

Mark your calendars! We are so excited for the opportunity to hear from Professor Douglas Thomas this week on November 4th at 11 am in the Madsen Recital Hall. Professor Thomas will discuss how we can build beauty from our ashes as we take our negative spaces and use them as a way to look inward and press forward in our personal lives.

This lecture is the start of the 2021-2022 Faith + Works Lecture Series. Designed for students, the Faith + Works series features faculty conversations exploring faith-building experiences in their professional work. We hope to see you there!
