I have tried and failed 3 times to get my group coaching offering off the ground. I’ve been working at this since 2019. I knew that it would work, that it would be wonderful and that it would allow me to work with folks who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford date coaching and matching service in their life.

Then, I had 1-1 sessions with most of the blueprinters over the last week and got to get into the specifics of what they’re focused on. It was incredible. I feel a refreshed for enthusiasm for what I do even though I love it everyday.

Perspectives were shifted.

I had one of the most gratifying client experiences of my life this week.

Last year, I started working with a client I met through a friend of a friend. We connected in that rare, meaningful way…where I can tell the truth and it’s received with depth. I loved working with her.

At 38, her past dating experiences had been deeply disappointing. I’ve seen discouragement before… but hers was unique.

I’m naturally a ray of sunshine, but it’s grounded in 20+ years of experience and research. Don’t shoot the messenger.

We got to a point in our work where she needed new photos before we could move forward. We scheduled the shoot! But, she canceled it the day before.
And then she disappeared. For 8 months, I heard nothing.

She still had sessions left, but wasn’t scheduling them. I reached out a couple of times to no response.
Then, nearly 9 months later, she popped back in.
She told me she had started dating someone from her past…and it was going well!

And… she wanted to talk about it with me.
We had that session this week. During our conversation, she poured out all these thoughts and feelings she’d had in our initial run.

She said the coaching had been really hard for her. That I had pointed out things about the future she didn’t want to see…things she wasn’t ready to face. She said I was loving… but the truth was uncomfortable.

So she stepped away. And wrestled with it.
Growth often feels like wrestling. If it was easy, everyone would do it all the time.

It stretches you. It disrupts you. It asks you to look at what you’ve been avoiding.

But if you stay with it…it changes everything. And everything is changing for her.

What felt really gratifying to me was that: She didn’t waste the work we’d done. She used it.

Every hard truth.Every uncomfortable realization. It all turned into personal architecting. And now… she’s building the thing she really always wanted.

The clients who resist the most, and are the hardest to work with because I feel mean, often become the ones who grow the most.

Enjoy some of her quotes from our session.

I’ve been speaking at BYU for the Senior Capstone class in their family life educator program for the last 5 or so years. Just once every semester, I take my show on the road to BYU campus. The students are so invigorating. Their questions tell me they are curious about possibilities and are interested in making their mark on the world.

I go in there to talk about my business. They year how I accidentally became an entrepreneur. How I didn’t know anything about running a business when I started and somehow that was enough to start one anyway. I get to recount my stories of trial and error finding what works, and discovering things that I really hate doing.
Most of these students are going on to Master’s programs, therapy school mostly. They’ll become Marriage and Family Therapists. But…those who don’t now know there are multiple paths forward. Coaching is an option, and makes a huge difference in the lives of those who invest in it. There are great coaches out there (and plenty of icky ones too). I try to be one of the good ones.

I wish them all the best in finding their passion, curated it, cultivating it turning it into something that’s really good for people of the world.

If you didn’t catch me today on Good Things Utah, here’s a clip from our segment where we talk about why it’s so important to break the touch barrier on or even before the first date.

Do you know how to help a first date catch a spark?
Touch can be tricky. How far is too far? What is not enough?
And what do you need to do show show real interest and curiosity in the person sitting across from you?

We also talk about how to move past the awkward stage and get to that comfortable, connected space a little faster. It’s a short segment and we have a lot of fun.

I offered a discount on my new Group Coaching Love Blueprint class. Registration happening until March 27th!
Take a look at the clip and tell me what you think.

I am a woman on a mission: Last year I helped 18 couples find each other and get engaged.

The other day I was typing an email being really braggadocious about how many engagements I had a part in last year and I miskeyed the number and typed 28 instead of 18. The number hit me like lightning. It struck me hard.

This is my new goal for 2026! 28 Client engagements! Do you think I can do it? We shall see…

In 2024 I had 16 client engagements, and beat that by 2 in 2025.

In 2026 if I am going to beat that number by TEN, I need to reach more people.

To do that I have decided to offer small-group coaching. I have invented a new thing I am calling The Love Blueprint. It’s going to help people who are marriage minded draft the plans that are going to build them a big house of love.

The Love Blueprint contains all the good stuff that I’ve been doing with clients for years. But instead of 1-1 you’re going to experience it with a group of new people. Believe me when I tell you that experiencing this content with a community of other people who are like you, who get it, who have had similar experiences as you is Powerful!

If you are marriage minded and are hoping to make BIG progress this year in finding love, please check out this program. Enrolling through March 6th!

Be part of the movement to get 28 couples engaged before the end of 2026.

And be aware that the Love Blueprint is totally affordable.

Dating doesn’t have to feel exhausting.
It doesn’t have to feel random.
And it definitely doesn’t have to feel discouraging.

That’s where my new program “The Love Blueprint” comes in.
