We are the "RMTC" that helps returned missionaries transition into post-mission life with confidence. We do this through hosting retreats and conferences.

Returned and Renewed guides individuals and families to have purposeful and fulfilling post-mission transitions. Join us for a live event or through a virtual course at https://www.returnedandrenewed.com/liveevents or message us to inquire more about our services.

Most missionaries don’t realize how many lives they’ve actually touched.

Not fully.

You have moments, names, maybe a few photos.
But a lot of what mattered most lives in other people’s memories.

Things they felt.
Things they noticed.
Things they may never say out loud.

Over the last few years, I’ve helped put some of those pieces together for a few people. Every time, the response has been the same:
“I had no idea…”

For the past year, my husband and I have been building something around that idea.

A simple, done-for-you way to preserve the voices, messages, and moments from your mission. Not just what happened, but what was witnessed.

We’re getting close to launching the first version.
It’s designed to help:

👉 missionaries heading out feel supported before they leave

👉 returning missionaries see, in one place, the lives they actually impacted

We’re not sharing everything yet, but we’re looking for a small group to see it early and give honest feedback.

If you’d want to be part of that, comment “interested.”

No pressure.

Just something we wish more missionaries had.

Isolation after the mission is rarely about being alone.

It is about feeling misunderstood.

If you want to be around people who get this season without needing it explained, comment COMMUNITY.

Coming home from the mission is supposed to feel like relief.

And often it does.

But for many returned missionaries, there is also a quiet sense of loss that is hard to explain.

Not because the mission was bad.
Not because they want to go back.
But because something meaningful ended.

Grief can exist even after a good experience.
And when that grief goes unnamed, it often turns into confusion or withdrawal.

We put together a short guide that explains why grief shows up during the transition home and how to understand it without fear.

If that would be helpful, comment GUIDE and I will send it to you.

The holidays slowed me down just enough to see something I usually rush past.

Success isn’t written in stone.
It isn’t handed down by a boss, a culture, or a highlight reel.
It’s defined by the one pursuing it.

And that matters more than we think.

If your pursuit of success is based on someone else’s definition, you’ll probably feel like you’re always behind. Always chasing. Always almost enough but never quite there.

If your definition is too broad, you won’t notice your growth. You’ll be moving forward but it won’t feel like it. Progress gets lost when the finish line is blurry.

If your definition is too narrow, you might hit the mark and still miss the moment. You’ll overlook opportunities God is quietly putting in front of you because they don’t fit the box you built.

So here’s my unsolicited advice. Take it or leave it.

Define what success would look like for you in a holistic way over the next month. Not just work. Not just money. Your body. Your spirit. Your relationships. Your peace.

Then zoom in.

What would success look like at this time next Monday?

Zoom in again.

What would success look like when you clock out today?

Now write down one thing you want to do before the end of the day that would move you toward success.

I promise you’ll find one thing.

Do it.

Celebrate it. Seriously.

Because if you don’t acknowledge progress today, you won’t chase it with the same heart tomorrow.

Small wins matter.
Faithful steps matter.
And the way you define success shapes the life you’re building, whether you realize it or not.

You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need one honest step.
