Scary times out there, but I am just stoked about a new PR that I hit. Don’t let your hard work and progress laps during this corona virus! Get outside and do your own workouts or come train with me at a private gym, or outside! (I have equipment!!)

This is the first time I have hit 265lbs.

One of the most important things about exercise - especially when you first start- is to make exercise fun!! You are putting in work to make yourself better, not that anything is wrong before, but life is about progression and being the best version of yourself.

If you don’t enjoy exercise, try something else! CrossFit- yoga- body building- HIIT- even running if you’re into that!!

Most people would probably say that pushing a car 75 meters and up a hill doesn’t look sound like fun. But to it is an opportunity to challenge and push himself!

If you’re trying to gain muscle, momentum is not your friend!
Gaining muscle isn’t about how many reps you do- you need to Controll the weight!

Burpees suck- true or false?

Holly and I officially started our training for a spartan race, this means we are adding more explosive and fast movements- like burpees!
When you do burpees, try adding something to jump over so you don’t compromise on the jump portion, otherwise you’ll eat it!

Have you ever heard of upper-crossed syndrome? It’s a very common posture problem that a lot of people are facing. We live in a word where people are constantly looking on their phone and sitting in a slouched position with their head forward. Or you may be like Ali and have it from sleeping in a hammock for 18 months. Either way, it can result in back pain and discomfort and limited range of motion in your shoulders and neck. If you or anyone you know has this going on, give this a shot!!

I have been working with Anu for over 4 months and she has progressed so much! Here’s a few videos of us working on her squat form. She’s always had strong legs but just recently she started to perfect her form!

Here is some short clips of Luke and I training last week. Luke is training for basketball so we are working on making his slow twitch muscle fibers turn into fast twitch muscle fibers. Everyone’s body is made of up both, and the type of training you do can change them over time! We try to keep most of his movements explosive and quick.
Also I went to a game of his last week. The kid has game.
