Dear Provincetown IB World Schools Families,

We are excited to share an invitation from the Town of Provincetown to celebrate the opening of the newly redeveloped Motta Field.

On Monday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m., the Town will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to mark the completion of this new community space. Provincetown IB Schools students, families and staff are encouraged to attend and see the new facilities.

This beautiful new space will provide opportunities for recreation, fitness, community events, and school and family gatherings for years to come.

We hope that you will join the community in celebrating this exciting addition to Provincetown and we look forward to seeing you there.

Dear Provincetown IB World Schools Families,

Our all-school whale watch is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026. The boat will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. Students traveling by school bus will be dropped off at the pier at 8:15 a.m. Families who are driving their students should also plan to drop them off at the pier by 8:15 a.m. to ensure everyone is ready for boarding.

In addition, we invite you to join us for a special Giant Puppet Parade showcasing student-created puppets inspired by mythologies from cultures around the world. The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Dear Provincetown IB World Schools Community,

Whale Watch Trip Cancelled – Monday, June 8

We regret to inform you that, due to offshore wind and wave conditions, Dolphin Fleet has canceled our whale watch trip scheduled for Monday, June 8. Out of an abundance of caution and with student safety as our top priority, the trip will not take place.

Students should report to school on Monday and follow their regular school-day schedule.

We are exploring the possibility of rescheduling the trip before the end of the school year and will share an update with families if an alternative date becomes available.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Big shoutout to three amazing students, ZJ, Brandon and Daequan , who stayed after school today to help clean up winter debris from the steps at St. Peter’s Church! It was a great chance to get outside, work together, and take pride in caring for the shared spaces in our community.

We even had a surprise assist from the Department of Public Works, who made a special stop to pick up our bags and bring them to the dump—true teamwork in action!

So proud of these students along with Mrs Van Cleave for stepping up and making a difference 💙
