🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Ellie Adair MPA ’18
Ellie Adair is using the skills she developed at Brown University’s Watson School to tackle one of health care’s biggest questions: how can we fairly and effectively distribute health care resources?
As chief operating officer at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), Ellie helps lead research evaluating the effectiveness and value of prescription drugs — combining ethics, economics and public policy to support evidence-based decision-making in health care.
At Brown, she found the freedom to explore policy through both analytical and human-centered lenses. Today, that perspective shapes her leadership philosophy: prioritize integrity, respect people’s humanity and focus on mission-driven impact.
Her perspective? Strong leadership starts with listening, care and building processes grounded in values.
