The Brown Tutoring Corps (BTC) finished their 2025-2026 tutoring sessions with BCSP students last week. Our tutors are kind, diligent and deeply committed to supporting our Scholars. A huge thank you, BTC!
The Brown Tutoring Corps mobilizes Brown University students in local K-12 schools and other elementary and secondary programming to support youth to make academic gains, develop mindsets and skills that contribute to postsecondary readiness,and build relationships with Brown University.

We had the privilege of having therapist Tiana Ochoa, of Thrive Therapy Services, present to our BCSP parents/guardians about the importance of emotional and mental health. Parents/guardians discussed valuable information on recognizing signs of anxiety and other mental health challenges their children may face. By equipping them with knowledge and resources, we hope to impact both parents/guardians and students positively.
