La Salle Academy Social Studies students from the Philosophy course and Student Diversity Committee travelled to Moses Brown School for an event sponsored by the Sandra Bornstein Holocaust Education Center to hear human rights activist Jacqueline Murekatete speak.
Ms. Murekatete is an internationally recognized Rwandan genocide survivor and human rights activist. Born in Rwanda, she was nine years old when she lost her parents and all six siblings to the Rwanda genocide.
