Visited the final resting place of Charles Atlas. I first sent off for his mail-order course back around 1984. Atlas was a skinny, bullied kid who decided to level up and do something about it, eventually building an empire by selling his "Dynamic Tension" exercise courses in comic book ads. All of us other skinny, bullied kids who found a ray of hope in those ads owe him big time. Sometimes all it takes is a tiny spark to set a mind on fire. I still incorporate a little "Dynamic Tension" into my own training, over 50 years since his passing.
