Mrs. Ghesani’s seventh grade Sustainability Class has been busy the last couple of weeks planting seeds, weeding, and adding mums around the Chapin campus. Their work is a great example of Character, Curriculum, and Community in action!

Chapin 7th graders explored droplet splatter in science lab, measuring the diameter of each splatter and looking closely at what the results could tell them.

Today, Chapin celebrated the Class of 2027 with the Chapin C Ceremony, a special tradition that marks the beginning of their year as school leaders. Sixth and seventh graders joined the celebration and watched as each eighth grader added a thumbprint around the Chapin C. Their thumbprints will remain as a lasting reminder of their time at Chapin.

What a beautiful evening for our Back-to-School Backyard BBQ! It was wonderful to see so many Chapin families, faculty, staff, and alumni together, enjoying great food, conversation, and community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening come together and to all who joined us. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the start of another great year at Chapin!

The Explorers 3s are getting ready for this afternoon’s BBQ! With a barbecue-themed dramatic play area and special centers today, they’ve been having fun preparing for today’s big event. We can’t wait to welcome our Chapin families to enjoy the afternoon together!
