We are so excited to welcome 2026 Festival guest presenter Negar Soley! Negar Soley is an Iranian composer, vocalist, and interdisciplinary artist based in Philadelphia. She completed her studies at Wesleyan University in 2025, working with field recordings, improvisation, and electronic music (including SuperCollider), with research into Morton Feldman and Frank O'Hara. She is currently a PhD candidate in music composition at Temple University, maintaining an active composer-performer practice.

We are very excited to welcome 2026 festival guest presenter Anna Weesner! Winner of the 2018 Virgil Thomson Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Anna Weesner loves writing songs and maintains a lifelong relationship with the car radio, where her presets are heavy on pop. She studied at Yale (B.A.) and Cornell (D.M.A.) and lives in Philadelphia, where she is a professor at UPenn.

We are very excited to welcome 2026 Festival guest presenter Leigha Amick! Leigha enjoys writing music inspired by the human experience, the natural world, and mathematical patterns. She holds degrees in composition from Indiana University (BM) and Curtis (MM). She currently teaches music theory for the Curtis Institute’s Young Artist Initiative, and will begin her doctorate at Juilliard in the fall.
