The Greatest Commandment is mentioned in Matthew 22: 37-38. What many of us Christians are not aware of is that every Jew of YESHUA's era recited the Shema as a morning devotion. I'm intrigued by this translation of the Shema.

The Scriptures are clear that a believer should remain firm in justice, righteousness and mercy even when the majority is doing otherwise.

These verses are challenging me, tell me how you feel when you read this passage of Scripture. Comment and share with others.
Does it mean if you fail to leave an inheritance to grandchildren, you are not a righteous person?

Three causes of poverty:
1. Greed-a violation of the Torah
2. Laziness- another violation of the Torah
3. Lack of knowledge -the work of the evil one to deprive humanity of their divine dominance of earth's resources.
Deuteronomy 15:4-5: However there shall be no poor with you (for YAHWEH will surely bless you in the land which YAHWEH your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it) if only you diligently listen to YAHWEH your God’s voice, to observe to do all this commandment which I command you today.

Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to YAHWEH; He [YAHWEH] will reward him [that giving individual].

Causes of Poverty-violation of God's sacred teachings through greed, laziness and ignorance.
