🎓 Earn University Credit & Your Teacher Mentor Endorsement! 🎓

Looking for college credit while advancing your teaching leadership? SESC, in partnership with Southern Utah University (SUU), offers the Teacher Mentor Endorsement through two university courses: Mentoring I and Mentoring II.

Here is what you need to know:
🔹 Earn 6 SUU Graduate Credits: Each course provides 3 graduate credit hours (6 credits total upon completing both courses).
🔹 Master’s Degree Pathway: Credits earned can be applied toward a Master’s degree at SUU!
🔹 Endorsement Requirement: Both Mentoring I and Mentoring II must be completed to qualify for the USBE Teacher Mentor Endorsement.
🔹 Flexible Scheduling: Courses are offered year-round (Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters).

📌 Note: SUU admissions fees and registration are separate from the SESC registration fee. Both fees apply for each course.

Looking to earn your Teacher Mentor Endorsement? Registration for Pathway 1 (the 14-month completion program) closes on August 31st!

Here is what you need to know:
🔹 Earn 5 USBE Credits upon completion (Note: No college credit is awarded for this pathway)
🔹 12 Self-Paced Modules (Completion deadline: July 31st)
🔹 Affordable Fees: $25 for SESC Region educators | $75 for Utah educators | $150 out-of-state
🔹 Prerequisites: Current Utah Professional Educator License, 1+ year full-time employment in Utah, 3+ years classroom teaching experience, and 3+ years "Effective" or higher evaluation ratings.

⚠️ Late enrollments will not be accepted, and registration won't open again until May 2027!

Celebrating the Best of the Best!

If you haven’t heard the fantastic news yet, Kim Rasmussen - kindergarten teacher at Cottonwood Elementary School in Orangeville, Utah, Emery County School District was officially honored as the SESC Regional Teacher of the Year at the Utah Rural Schools Conference!

Kim’s unwavering dedication, heart, and passion for her students make a difference every single day, and we couldn't be prouder to see her recognized on this stage.
