Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss! Today we are celebrating Dr. Seuss in Chino Valley with AZ Farm Bureau's Agriculture in the Classroom program reading "Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You?" and discussing cattle with 2nd graders. We can't think of a better way to spend the day!

Excited to be continuing our programs in schools across the Western side of Yavapai county. Today we are in Prescott, next week we are in Kirkland, Chino Valley, Prescott and Prescott Valley! We love the Ag in the classroom programs we bring to the students from Arizona Farm Bureau! If you'd be interested in a program for your child or classroom please send us a message!

We are getting ready to start visiting classrooms and we couldn't be more excited! If you have a K-2 grade classroom you are involved with and would like to have an informative and fun visit about Pumpkins please contact us right away and we'll get you scheduled! It's time to celebrate Earth Day with the Arizona Farm Bureau's Ag in the Classroom (AITC). This 30 minute presentation of Seed Soil Sun by Cris Peterson is available to all Kindergarten – 2nd grade classrooms and is completely FREE. Presentations include the story and an interactive discussion about the parts of the plant and what part of the plant they are eating.

Presentations are available APRIL 20th - MAY 15th.

If you work for a school or your child goes to a school in Western Yavapai County (West of Mingus Mountain) mention this to the K-2 teachers to see if they would like to participate!

If you would like to sign up your K – 2nd grade classrooms for a presentation in your school please email the following information to our education director, Sarah Lindsey, at [email protected]:

• School Name
• Teacher Names and Grade Level
• Number of students in each class
• Which day your Team would prefer
• A 30-minute time slot for each teacher (as close to back to back as possible)

We ask that all teachers at each school campus schedule for the same day so that we can leave days open for other schools.

Remember, the first 100 teachers to schedule a presentation will get to keep the book for their classroom library.

We just completed an amazing few weeks visiting schools with the AZ Farm Bureau's AITC Dr Seuss/Read Across America Program! We are saddling up to begin the Earth Day event! Dates will be added soon!
