For the week of February 2–6, our Transportation Department will be taking attendance during after-school bus drop-offs only. This temporary process will help us collect accurate data so we can improve routing efficiency and better utilize our transportation resources. You may notice no change in your child’s drop-off time, or there may be a slight delay. To minimize any disruption, our bus drivers and students have been practicing procedures such as stating first and last names during drop-off. We appreciate your patience and support during this one-week effort as we work to maximize our fleet, responsibly use taxpayer dollars, and—most importantly—continue to prioritize student safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
Humboldt Unified School District

Please review the information below regarding new bus routes taking effect on August 5th.
Attention Parents and Guardians:
Due to budget constraints all bus routes for the 2019-20 school year have been revised. There have been some consolidation of routes and some bus stops that have been eliminated. Special needs buses will only be affected by driver changes.
To help acclimate students and parents to the changes we are rolling out communication to help everyone with these changes prior to the start of school. Transportation staff will be sending out messages via phone calls, emails and social media and they will be available to answer questions at all school Open Houses on August 1st.
If you have any questions please call the transportation department at 928-759-5191 or send an email to [email protected]. We appreciate everyone's patience as we all walk through the changes together. With everyone's help we can make it a smooth transition for our students. We will reply to email and phone calls as quickly as we can. We are short staffed during the summer months in transportation and employees at our school sites will return to their locations on Monday July 8th.
The new 2019-20 bus routes are listed on our Humboldt website and on all school websites. They can be found by clicking the link below. If you are using the InfoFinder feature please be sure to enter the address with all of the specifics details. The program is very sensitive to what is entered. The address must be complete, including number, direction and street name in order for the stop information to be displayed. For example,if you live at 4321 Robert Rd, you would enter 4321 N Robert Rd.

Please be aware of possible bus route adjustments due to road construction on Spouse Drive over the next few months.
Road Construction on Spouse - The HUSD Transportation Department would like to share information about possible road closures that may occur on Spouse Drive between Spring Drive and Lobo Way due to road construction. The Town of Prescott Valley anticipates construction on Spouse through August 2019.
With that being said this may lead to Spouse Drive being closed unexpectedly which will affect student bus stops. The transportation department will give as much notice as possible about any closures on Spouse and how it will affect bus stops as soon as that information is received.
Please watch our district page and website as well as the transportation department page for the most current information. http://edne.tw/n556746
