The car is in the shop, so I'm taking the afternoon to learn more about Acellus Academy. I'm excited to see how the Vectored Instruction will enhance the kids' learning next year. There's often holes in learning, and this will actually pull videos and questions from lower grade levels to help the student fill in those holes when they are struggling with a concept. 🤯

Today is Tolkien Day! I highly recommend this book about the friendship between Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, the influence of WWI on them as people and authors.

Science fun!

Our completed "waddling" or "melt" of snowmen (thanks to my dear friend for looking up the collective noun).

Our woodworker neighbor turned all of these snowmen for the kids to paint. ☃️ Stay tuned for the results!

Just before fall break we took a field trip to watch Micah as Woodstock in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", then after fall break we toured Sharlot Hall.
