वह कंप्यूटर के उपयोग से परिचित है।

“Before” का मतलब केवल “पहले” नहीं होता।
कई बार इसका अर्थ “सामने” / “के सामने” के भाव में भी आता है, खासकर जब किसी व्यक्ति, अधिकारी, अदालत आदि के सामने उपस्थित होने की बात हो।

Examples of “Before” = सामने

वह न्यायाधीश के सामने खड़ा है।
→ He is standing before the judge.

छात्र प्रधानाचार्य के सामने हैं।
→ The students are before the principal.

मैं आपके सामने सच बोल रहा हूँ।
→ I am speaking the truth before you.

आरोपी अदालत के सामने उपस्थित है।
→ The accused is present before the court.

वह पूरे समाज के सामने शर्मिंदा है।
→ He is ashamed before the whole society.

उसने सबके सामने अपना विचार रखा।
→ He presented his idea before everyone.

सैनिक अपने कमांडर के सामने सावधान मुद्रा में हैं।
→ The soldiers are standing alert before their commander.

बच्चा अपने माता-पिता के सामने शांत है।
→ The child is quiet before his parents.

“before” और “in front of”

दोनों का मतलब कई बार “सामने” होता है, लेकिन दोनों के प्रयोग में अंतर है।

1. In front of
👉 किसी वस्तु / व्यक्ति के ठीक आगे या सामने होने के लिए।

Examples
कार घर के सामने है।
→ The car is in front of the house.

वह मेरे सामने खड़ा है।
→ He is standing in front of me.

बच्चे शिक्षक के सामने बैठे हैं।
→ The children are sitting in front of the teacher.

2. Before
👉 किसी व्यक्ति / अधिकारी / सभा / अदालत आदि के सामने उपस्थित होने या औपचारिक sense में।

Examples

आरोपी अदालत के सामने है।
→ The accused is before the court.

उसने सबके सामने भाषण दिया।
→ He delivered a speech before everyone.

छात्र प्रधानाचार्य के सामने उपस्थित हैं।
→ The students are before the principal.

position (ठीक सामने)

before → formal / official / audience के सामने

→ वह मेरे ठीक सामने खड़ा है।

Angry with / Angry at – Difference

1. Angry with
👉 किसी व्यक्ति पर गुस्सा होना

Examples

मैं तुमसे नाराज़ हूँ।
→ I am angry with you.

वह अपने दोस्त से नाराज़ है।
→ He is angry with his friend.

शिक्षक छात्रों से नाराज़ हैं।
→ The teacher is angry with the students.

मेरी माँ मुझसे नाराज़ हैं।
→ My mother is angry with me.

2. Angry at
👉 किसी बात / व्यवहार / स्थिति पर गुस्सा होना

Examples

वह तुम्हारी गलती पर नाराज़ है।
→ He is angry at your mistake.

मैं उसके व्यवहार पर नाराज़ हूँ।
→ I am angry at his behavior.

वे इस निर्णय पर नाराज़ हैं।
→ They are angry at this decision.

While + V-ing करते समय
For a while कुछ समय तक

🟢 1️⃣ While (जब / जब तक)

👉 जब दो काम एक साथ हो रहे हों।

Structure: While + Subject + Verb

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ I was watching TV while she was cooking.
👉 मैं टीवी देख रहा था जबकि वह खाना बना रही थी।

2️⃣ Don’t talk while eating.
👉 खाते समय बात मत करो।

🟢 2️⃣ While + V-ing (एक साथ हो रहे काम)

👉 जब दोनों काम एक ही समय पर चल रहे हों।

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ While driving, don’t use your phone.
👉 गाड़ी चलाते समय मोबाइल का इस्तेमाल मत करो।

2️⃣ While studying, he listens to music.
👉 पढ़ते समय वह म्यूज़िक सुनता है।

🟢 3️⃣ A while (थोड़ा समय)

👉 A while का मतलब है “थोड़ा समय”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ Wait for a while.
👉 थोड़ी देर इंतज़ार करो।

2️⃣ She stayed here for a while.
👉 वह यहाँ कुछ देर रुकी।

🟢 4️⃣ For a while (कुछ समय तक)

👉 Duration बताने के लिए – “कुछ समय तक”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ I lived in Delhi for a while.
👉 मैं कुछ समय तक दिल्ली में रहा।

🟢 5️⃣ In a while (थोड़ी देर में / जल्द ही)

👉 मतलब – “थोड़ी देर बाद” या “जल्द ही”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ I’ll call you in a while.
👉 मैं तुम्हें थोड़ी देर में कॉल करूँगा।

🟢 8️⃣ Within a while (थोड़े समय के अंदर)

👉 मतलब – “थोड़े समय के अंदर ही”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ Within a while, it started raining.
👉 थोड़े समय के अंदर ही बारिश शुरू हो गई।

🟢 9️⃣ Not a worthwhile (गलत प्रयोग)

👉 सही रूप है – Not worthwhile
मतलब – जिसकी कोई कीमत या फायदा न हो

उदाहरण:
It’s not worthwhile to argue.
👉 बहस करना फायदेमंद नहीं है।

🟢 10️⃣ Once in a while (कभी-कभी)

👉 मतलब – “कभी-कभी”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ I go for a walk once in a while.
👉 मैं कभी-कभी टहलने जाता हूँ

🟢 11️⃣ All the while (पूरे समय तक)

👉 मतलब – “पूरे समय”

उदाहरण:
1️⃣ She was smiling all the while.
