With Christmas coming, we do our best to feed holiday meals to 25 of our families at Brighton Academy. $50 provides a traditional meal to an entire family. So far we have 4 families covered and just 19 to go!

Friends, it is our Director of Brighton Academy's birthday...Our work in Ethiopia COULD NOT happen if it weren't for this man. Nebiat has dedicated his life to helping children and families in his community in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He pours every minute of his day into over 900 students to make they receive the food and education they deserve. We are truly indebted to him. May we all strive to be like Nebiat and love others so well. Happy birthday, our incredible brother.

Friends...take a look at the amazing news we received about Brighton Academy Of Excellence! We are only in our 7th year of school and to receive this type of award this early in the game, is unheard of! Thank you to our amazing director and all the staff and YOU for making this dream come true!

We have a HUGE news!

We just received our biggest achievement so far. Brighton Academy of Excellence was just rated the second best school among the 1646 private schools in Addis Ababa.
This is huge!
The fact that we got the award in the same month we dedicate to our sponsors and supporters makes it so special for us.
Congratulations!
Just a couple of months ago we were rated No. 1 from our sub city among 180 private schools.
Today we received a certificate of recognition from the Addis Ababa education office and regulatory agency and we were rated the 2nd best school from all schools in Addis Ababa, based on the standard inspection conducted.
We’ve translated our award certificate as below.

Inspection Performance Evaluation Certificate

To Brighton Academy of Excellence School, According to the authority and duties given by the Education and Training Quality Control Authority of Addis Ababa City in Proclamation No. 74/2014, according to the national general education inspection framework standard from the standard inspection service conducted in the year 2015 Ethiopian Calendar ( 2023 G.C) with a total score of 85.65, among those who are level 3 primary and middle level schools . This certificate was awarded for achieving the highest score and stood 2nd among other schools in Addis Ababa.
