Bladerunner Farms is the world’s largest zoysiagrass research & development facility. Bladerunner Farms is headquartered in Poteet, Texas, just south of San Antonio. Zoysia offers lush, beautiful home lawns and quality golf course playing surfaces while requiring few inputs and little water. Zeon Zoysia, JaMur Zoysia and L1F are all products of the Bladerunner development program. Bladerunner works in conjunction with the University of Georgia to conduct research. Grasses are licensed west of the Mississippi by Doguet Ventures, East of the Mississippi by The Turfgrass Group. Turfgrass, Turf, Grass, Sod, Lawns, etc. JaMur Zoysia

David, Daric and Lesley joined Texas A&M AgriLife's Field Day to see the latest research and connect with others in the industry.

We’ve worked alongside Texas A&M for years, with several of our newer zoysiagrass varieties currently being evaluated through their research programs.

One of the biggest takeaways was the growing interest in zoysiagrass for sports fields and parks, particularly as municipalities look for ways to reduce water use and stretch their maintenance budgets.

It's exciting to see more opportunities opening up for zoysiagrass, and we're proud to continue supporting the research helping move the industry forward.

We’ve had a few days to look back on Field Day, and we just want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Poteet and stuck with us through all the weather warnings. We loved getting to spend the afternoon talking zoysia, sharing what we’ve been working on and showing you around Bladerunner Farms.

One of the most special moments of the day was honoring David and Sheri Doguet with our Legacy Award, recognizing what they’ve built together, their exceptional contributions to the world of zoysiagrass and what they continue to mean to all of us at Bladerunner Farms.

A big thank you to our speakers for sharing their time and knowledge, our sponsors for their support, and our team for all the work that went into making the day happen.

If you’ve stopped by one of our trade show booths lately, you’ve probably seen L1FS.

It’s one of our newest varieties and still goes by its experimental name. L1FS has a larger, soft leaf with a dark green color.

Underneath, it’s an aggressive horizontal grower, something that sets it apart from many other low-mow grasses.

Pretty incredible to see the scale of what’s being built in Vietnam.

Stadium Zoysia is going down at both the new PVF facility and the 135,000-seat Trong D**g Stadium project. Seeing Stadium become part of projects of this scale is pretty special.

Excited to watch these surfaces take shape.
