National Honor Society has partnered with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center where these amazing students helped run Blood Drive today at the high school! Some of them even donated blood themselves.

Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to donate and save lives! A total of 41 units were donated today, which was above the goal for today. We look forward to having 4 more blood drives this next school year!

Tonight the Poteet High School Silver Dancers partnered up with the National Honor Society students and Poteet HS Interact Club to help out at the Easter Event hosted by the Poteet Little League - New Page! Our students helped hide 5,000 eggs for the hunt, face painted a bunch of kiddos, ran a bunch of different games, helped at the concession stand, and even wore a bunny suit! Needless to say, I’m extremely proud of these amazing students that we have at Poteet High School Poteet TX.

Hello everyone! The National Honor Society wants to thank everyone for donating to the CPS Angel Tree! Each Angel on the tree represents an Atascosa County child living under the Child Protective Services care. These children live in foster homes, with relatives, or in a treatment center.

Please take an Angel from the tree, which has the child’s name, gender, age, and what they would like for Christmas. You can buy as many gifts as you would like from their list. The ages range from babies to 18 years old.

If you would like to make a child’s Christmas, please stop by the high school and pick up an Angel!

Please bring all gifts back unwrapped by next Friday, December 15th!
