Well, I scrolled back through my camera roll to look for some September photos to share, and surprise, just about every photo I took was a puppy pic.
That sums up September. Ron arrived on my doorstep on September 8th, and it’s been a whirlwind since then — sleepless nights, potty training, setting boundaries, cuddling, socializing, and figuring out all the puppy things that I’ve forgotten since our last little nugget.
Over the past week, the fall foliage has really started to pop, and we’ve been socializing Ron to woodland trails, quiet ponds, and long car rides. I don’t know if trail ettiquette will be important in his future as a guide dog, but I still think it’s a good skill to have.
And, for the record, Miss Malinda is accompanying us on most of these adventures, it’s just difficult to get them both to sit still for photos.
