Miss Notre Dame 2021

Even though my reign as Miss Notre Dame is over, my reign as Miss River Days 1st Runner-Up has just begun!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Notre Dame Schools for allowing me to make my mark on the stage last night, and making you all proud. You guys were a huge part of my success last night. I love my community more than anything. It feels so unreal to me STILL that this had happened. As soon as I was called on stage I immediately looked up at my cheer section and blew them a kiss. I’m so sad to let go of the title that got me here, but I am so excited to see where this next title takes me. Thank you to my parents, for putting everything you have into this experience with me and for supporting me in everything i do. I love you both. And thank you to Melissa Cron, the most AMAZING human and p-mom in the universe!!! I love you and your soul til the very end, you were the foundation of this journey. So for the very last time, I am your Miss Notre Dame 2021, Madison Brown!!👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼

A little story behind this picture. I have had a crazy busy week and was trying to find a little window of time to go get my nails done for this pageant tomorrow. I decided Wednesday was the best time for me to go. When I was there, I saw this man getting his nails done with his wife and little daughter. They were so cute! When the man got up to pay, he looked at the nail tech and said “I’m paying for everyone here”. I thought at first he was joking, until the nail tech came around the salon asking how much each of our nails were going to cost. He did pay for every single set of nails being done in that salon. I had to get a fill-in and a pedicure, which would’ve been easily $100. Since I got french tip on my toes, I ended up paying only $5. I truly believe this was a sign from God!! There are truly good people out there, be kind!!🤍🤍🤍

Last night I had my last meet the team 😞 But I ended it with a bang because I was the MC for the night!! I was so excited to put my speaking skills I have learned over the summer, to use last night!! This was the biggest “in person” crowd I have spoken to in long time, and I loved it!! It was great practice for pageant time, which is 15 days away!! I can’t believe it’s coming so fast!! 👑👑

Hello Everyone!

Yesterday I had the privilege to help with a Type 1 Diabetes drive thru!! A portion of the moneys that was raised from my community service event “Ride on Insulin” went to sponsor the drive thru. Cars drove up to pick up a swag bag, pizza, low bag, and cookies! It was so much fun seeing familiar and new faces! It was a huge success! Here are just a few pictures of the event and some of the kids with their goodies who stopped by!🤍

This Thursday, August 12th from 5-6pm at the Notre Dame Community Center (2220 Sunrise Avenue, Portsmouth Ohio) there will be a T1D Swag Bag Pick-Up!! Due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to hold a camp, so this was the next best option!! These swag bags include many fun gifts, gadgets, and health care items for the kids, as well as information packets in the folders for them to have!! I can’t wait to see who all comes out on Thursday evening!!🤍🤍

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in my Texas Hold Em’ poker tournament last evening! I am beyond excited and honored to announce that the proceeds from my community service event, “Ride on Insulin” have been donated to the Ohio River Valley T1D organization!! I cannot think of a better way to put use to this money!! I feel overwhelmed with joy knowing I have been able to give back to an organization so close to my family’s heart!!
