Parent Sign-On Letter Deadline Extended!

More than 14,000 Head Start parents and caregivers have already added their names to NHSA’s national Parent Sign-On Letter, sending a powerful message about what families want protected as changes to the Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) are considered.

We are extending the deadline to add even more family voices. The Parent Sign-On Letter now closes on Friday, October 2, 2026. Every additional signature helps demonstrate how strongly families value the services, supports, and opportunities that make Head Start work!

Please consider speaking up for Head Start. Now more than ever, we need all the voices we can get to help raise awareness and advocate for the children, families, and communities we serve.

Our Tailgate food distributions are for everyone who needs them. No ID or proof of income is needed to receive food at our distributions. Everyone is welcome.
