Registration is open for the 2026 Eating Disorders Association of Maine Conference, and we would love to see you there!
This year’s theme, Food, Body, and Mind Liberation: Fostering Resiliency in a Diet Culture World, invites us to think critically about the systems, messages, and clinical practices that shape how people experience food, bodies, and eating disorder care.
Join us on Friday, September 25, 2026, at The Green Ladle in Lewiston for a full day of learning, connection, and meaningful conversation.
The day will include:
• Keynote presentation from Ragen Chastain
• Sessions on diet culture, GLP-1 medications, shape and weight concerns, and common nutrition myths
• An interactive “Ask the Experts” panel
• Opportunities to connect with eating disorder professionals and community members from across Maine and beyond
• Morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon refreshments
The conference is pending approval for 6 CEUs through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the Maine Psychological Association.
Whether you are a dietitian, therapist, psychologist, physician, student, educator, advocate, or community member, we hope you will join us for a day centered on more compassionate, inclusive, and weight-inclusive care.
