Join us Thursday, January 22nd from 5:30-7:30 PM for our long-cherished tradition, the SES Riparian Festival. We gather in community to celebrate our 3rd-8th grade students' work - from 3-5 storylines, writing and artwork, to 6-8 projects based on their thematic years (forests, rivers, oceans and mountains), the Riparian Festival will have activities for all ages. Classrooms are open for touring so you can see what the students have been learning. Even if you donโt have a student in 3rd-8th, it is worth checking out what is to come.
In addition there will be a wonderful homemade lasagna dinner in the cafeteria (BRING YOUR OWN MESS KIT TO REDUCE WASTE! Dinner is free to all, suggested $5 donation.). Treats and sweets also provided. We will finish up the evening with a full school sing-along in the auditorium at 7:15pm led by our very own SES staff musicians. It is a wonderful, warm night intended to bring our community together in fellowship around our schoolโs unique curriculum and mission.
We are asking volunteers to donate lasagna and baked goods for the dinner that night, and people to help serve it up and then clean up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050E49ABA729AAF94-60982804-2026 #/
If you can help out either by donating a lasagna or your time, please sign up.
