Congratulations to all 3 groups for making straight superior ratingsat LGPE this year in performance and excellent ratings in sightreading. This is the first year that we have taken 3 groups. The Tenor/Bass Ensemble, Treble Chorus, and the Mixed Ensemble represented Newton High School very well!

Congratulations to Brennon Blount. He made it through 2 auditions, and he is on his way to Athens to sing in the Georgia Music Educators Association's All-State Chorus.
On his first audition, which was the toughest and most competitive, he scored an amazing 64.5 out of a perfect score of 66.
On his second audition, he scored a 99/100!!!

The Newton High School chorus had a blast at the Georgia Music Educator's District 4 Honor Chorus event and concert. They represented NHS very well. Congratulations, Madison Sills, Brennon Blount, Taylor Rayne Jackson, Judah Rowe, Jayla Scott, Marcus Barker, and Kaliyah Dabney for being selected and for an phenomenal concert!
