Stop and Serve

Stop & Serve is a great way for busy BYU students to take a break and serve in a convenient yet meaningful way! Come join us at Stop & Serve!

Students can stop by the office (2330 WSC) and work on new projects each month, then these projects are delivered to local non-profits! We have monthly service projects for students to come by and work on in room 2330 in the WSC. We coordinate with local (and sometimes not local) non-profit organizations to donate our projects to different people in need each month. Our projects are available M-F

from 8am-5pm, except for during the devotional on Tuesdays at 11am. You can stay for any amount of time you'd like and, if you don't finish, another volunteer will pick up where you left of!

Happy Friday and Happy Veterans Day! These fabulous ladies came into the Y-Serve office to take advantage of the service opportunities we have set up all day! They’re amazing! Need an activity to do with friends? Or just need some alone time? Come serve with us in the Y-Serve office! ❤️

We’re peacein’ out! It looks like the Coronavirus finally shut us down for now, so this “Thank You Thursday” is going out to everyone still finding ways to serve while they’re stuck at home! Hang in there, cougars!

Happy Thursday everyone! And a big thank you to ! There have been lots of stressful things going on lately, but Afton says that she uses Stop and Serve as a de-stressor. What better way to take some time for yourself than knitting some hats in the Stop and Serve office??

On another note, we’d just like to let our volunteers know that though many Y-Serve groups have been temporarily shut down, the Stop and Serve office is still open for now. We’ll let you know if anything changes!

We have so many awesome volunteers here at Stop and Serve! We wanted to give them some shout outs, so this is the inaugural post for our new thing *drumroll please* 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 “Thank you Thursday!” Where we thank our volunteers for all that they do. So big thank you to .echols.56 .cat.horse and for taking a little time to come in together and serve others. What a fun way to spend time with friends 😊

What are you thankful for? I’ll tell you what we’re thankful for...😬if I can pluck up enough courage...okay it’s YOU, you little helper! 😉Thanks for all of the service you do! Even with all the other things stuffing your schedule. We know it’s no gravy boat! If you’re looking tur-keep 🦃 finding ways to serve, you can come help us make decorations for the Rehab Center this Thanksgiving. I’m sure they’ll love all of your a-maize-ing artwork 😁🌽 🦃
