If you have not taken the Basic Course, but want to begin your College journey now, the Dean of the College has given permission for Legion Family members to take these courses now and complete their College requirements during the Fall semester.

This won’t take you 7 years – you can do it in 3 months! Hello, WI Legion Family! Virtual Training Springtime 2026 kicks off Saturday February 28 until Apr 4. Clear your calendars and take advantage of these great courses. Enrollment fee for each course is a mere $5. Take the Basic Course, and you are on your way to earning the Wisconsin American Legion College Graduate pin. The Intermediate Course follows in April; the Advanced Course in May. Fee for the Intermediate and Advanced Courses will be $15 each. All Legion Family members are welcome to attend all courses. Just one week before the first Basic Course begins! It's not too late to sign up. The first class is Sep 6-7 from 9AM to Noon. The second is Sep 17-18 from 6-9PM. The Basic Course covers a number of topics - Americanism and Children and Youth programs, public relations, leadership, Legion legislative program and priorities, and the entire Officers Guide and Manual of Ceremonies.
