Portage Archery Club

Archery Registration 12/16/15 and 12/18/15 at John Muir 6-8 pm in the cafeteria. First year club members all grades special practice during registration in John Muir gym to learn the Nasp style archery program.

Anyone interested in working a 2 hour shift at the Portage Car Show working registration 7:30-10:00 , directing cars to park for the show 7:30-9:30, 10:00-12:30 late registrations and drawing door prizes, 12:30-3:00 tallying up votes and handing out awards. Can stay all day or work part or all of a shift. First fundraiser of the 2012-2013 Archery Team State and National Season. Any other suggestions or ideas feel free to share or organize. Thanks! Over a hundred students signed up for archery this year. 98 students have shown for practice so far and about 80 have paid their fees. Need to finalize the names for state by February 24th. Spread the word to those finishing a sport to come to practice by next week to sign up to shoot at state either Friday morning 10:15 or late afternoon 3:30 Friday, also Saturday at 1:00 or 2:15. All practices are at Fort Winnebago, Monday the 20th between 3:15 and 6:15. Tuesday 21st between 5:15 and 8:15. Reminder that 23rd Thursday's practice is cancelled due to parent teacher conferences at Fort Winnebago and limited parking.

Just a reminder that archery practice starts January 9th 2012 out at Fort Winnebago School located on Dumke Rd. just off of Hwy. F **Start out with one a week practices on Monday which are early practices 3:15-4:00, 4:00-4:45, 4:45-5:30, 5:30-6:15 depending on numbers attending practice may have to add another flight time 6:15-7:00 Members signed up already are 35 John Muir 37 Middle school 16 from the high school and not sure of the numbers from the outlying schools and 1 from Rusch Looks like our numbers will be over 100 again.
