The Academy FL is a specialized Accredited School for Children with Dyslexia, ADHD, and Non Traditional learners. Its a pleasure seeing their students excel at the game of Chess! Our approach to chess education puts emphasis on adapting to each childs indivual needs to help develop their critical thinking.

Something special for the week of the March 23rd. All week our virtual lessons will be COMPLETLY FREE. This is to service homeschool children specifcally to teach them how to play the game, the basics of piece movements and stratgey. These are vitual private lessons! Take advantage of the oppourtunity to use screen time this spring break to introduce you child to this amazing game that helps build critical thinking, problem sonving, and planning skills.

Hey everyone I'm Jonathan! The founder of Jon's Pawns and just one of the educators who are working together to grow the game of chess, through education, social events, and community. Our goal here for the past 3 years has been to make the game of chess more accsessable, we are now working with over 20 private students as well as 200+ in person acorss 12 micro and private schools.
