Legacy High School Legacy High School, opening in the 2025-2026 school year, is Saint Lucie County’s newest high school.

LHS will be home to over 1,500 students in grades 9-11 in the first year before introducing our first senior class in 2026-2027.

Our Legacy Lions seniors gathered before sunrise this morning for Senior Sunrise, celebrating the beginning of their final year together. From watching the sun come up to making memories with friends, it was the perfect reminder that this year will be filled with moments they’ll never forget.

As the sun rose on their senior year, so did the excitement for all that lies ahead. We look forward to celebrating every milestone, tradition, and unforgettable event with the Class of 2027, from homecoming and senior events to graduation day and everything in between.

Last night’s swim meet was filled with incredible performances as our swimmers continued to shatter the marks they set just one year ago! 💙🩶

Legacy Express made its first official delivery today! 📦🚚

Students in our Global Logistics program prepared and delivered four boxes of replica trophies to Principal Mr. Smith. Before making the delivery, students packed each shipment, completed packing slips, used bubble wrap to protect the trophies, and prepared delivery receipts.

After the shipment arrived, Mr. Smith inspected the delivery and signed the students’ receipts—giving them the opportunity to experience the shipping process from packing to final delivery and proof of receipt.

A great first run for Legacy Express and another hands-on logistics experience for our students!

🩺🛏️ Learning by doing in Mrs. Stiepleman’s Medical class! Students had quite the audience of patient manikins waiting to get tucked back into bed while they practiced proper bed-making techniques.

Students learned that bed-making is about more than appearance. A well-made bed plays an important role in patient care by helping prevent skin breakdown and promoting comfort and safety.

Way to go, future healthcare professionals, for mastering the details that make a big difference in patient care! 🩺💙🦁

🚨 ONLY THE FIRST 100 STUDENTS who have PAID AND COMPLETED ALL REQUIRED PERMISSION FORMS will have a guaranteed spot!

After the first 100 students, a WAITING LIST will begin while we determine if we can fill a third bus.

Please note: At the time of this post, SchoolPay was not accepting guest payments, so an account must be created. Please include the student’s name when making your purchase.

⚠️ SchoolPay and card/kiosk payments include a transaction fee.

📋 ALL 3 FORMS ARE REQUIRED!

Students must submit ALL THREE forms:

1️⃣ Parent Permission, Academic & Behavior Form
2️⃣ Medical Release Form — MUST BE NOTARIZED
3️⃣ Release of Liability Form

Forms are available in the Front Office and should be returned to Mrs. Witherow or Mrs. Elliott.

📚 ACADEMIC, ATTENDANCE & BEHAVIOR ELIGIBILITY

Students may not accrue more than FOUR (4) unexcused absences between August 25 and October 23.

If you currently need to bring up a grade, you are still encouraged to reserve your spot and pay! Students may continue working to meet the academic requirements through the date of the trip.

Students are also expected to maintain appropriate behavior after payment. An administrator will verify academic and discipline eligibility. Any disciplinary incident that makes a student ineligible to participate will result in the student being unable to attend, and no refund will be issued for behavior-related ineligibility.

⚠️ WHAT DOES THE $160 INCLUDE?
The $160 covers transportation and your Halloween Horror Nights admission ticket ONLY.

Students should plan to bring additional money for:
🍕 Food
🥤 Drinks
🛍️ Souvenirs
🎃 Any other purchases they would like to make during the trip

⏰ DEADLINES
Payment AND all required forms are due September 23.

Remember: Paying alone does not guarantee your spot. All required forms must also be completed and submitted.
