We welcomed Little No Foot to our family this week. He came from Snake Discovery: Reptile Store & Zoo adoption program, and we are so excited he is with us!

He is missing his right rear foot, the tip of his tail, and several toes. Though we don't know exactly what happened, it is possible he was housed with other bearded dragons who attacked him.

His injuries do not slow him down at all, and look at that amazing splat sleeping position! ❤️

Look at my new bracelet, y'all! This is Nelson, a 2-year-old rubber boa, one of only two indigenous boas to the United States. The other is the rosy boa, and both species are from the western states down into South America. Every other boa currently in the US originated in another country.

He is completely adorable, eats in the cutest way, and I am totally in love! He also makes for gorgeous jewelry. ❤️

Please join us next Saturday, April 20th, for the Oxbow Eco-Center's 20th Anniversary Earth Day Festival. This is a free, family friendly community event put on by St. Lucie County’s Environmental Resources Department.

To support the Oxbow Eco-Center, we will have our animals available for free encounters. You can hold and take pictures with them, while learning more about them. We will also be giving an animal presentation later in the day.

We hope to see you all there at this wonderful event!

Hey Aaron. I know I was scrolling Instagram on my phone, and I know I have a ton of things to do and need to get to it. But you did NOT have to p**p on me to get my going! 😏🤣🙄

Have you ever wondered how a tortoise that only eats vegetation gets calcium?

One way is with cuttlefish bone. It gives them the calcium they need and helps keep their beaks trimmed.

When you're cleaning out the rat snake enclosure and this cutie patootie pokes her boopable snoot out upside down.🤎
