I look forward to greeting you again at the second lesson of Decoding the Talmud—it’s on Tuesday, February 11th, 7:00 PM at Chabad

This week, we’re telling the story of why Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi wrote the Mishnah. We’re asking why so much of the Torah was transmitted orally and how it wound up on the printed page. Along the way we’ll study a Mishnah, note this unique text’s primary features, and explore the spiritual value associated with Mishnah study.

I’m excited to explore this with you.
