I've learned a lot through my own relationships.
Some have been, and still are, complicated. Some messy. Some require patience, prayer, reflection, courage, and time.
But everything I've been through has caused me to see relationships differently.
What a relationship looks like from the outside doesn't tell the whole story.
Sometimes something difficult is happening.
Sometimes something beautiful is happening.
Sometimes both are happening at the same time.
And sometimes we can't know what to do until we slow down enough to understand what's happening within us.
That's a big part of why I created Relationship Insights, my free community for reflective women.
It's a place to slow down, look beneath the obvious, and discover what our relationships may be showing us.
We become more aware of our feelings, our patterns, our part, our choices, and what may be ours to do.
Sometimes that's patience.
Sometimes a boundary.
Sometimes a difficult conversation.
Sometimes letting go.
Sometimes holding on.
And sometimes we simply need more time before we know.
You don't have to figure it all out at once.
You can slow down, look a little closer, and ask:
What can I make of what I'm finding?
