College of Ag Student, Elizabeth Miller, planted alfalfa and oat hay in her Pastures and Forage lab this week on Spadra Ranch. Thanks to the hard work of all of those who fought for this land when it was threatened, students like Elizabeth get call this amazing place their classroom.

Air Resources Board selects Riverside site Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Agriculture students are breathing a collective sigh of relief: the California Air Resources Board has decided on UC Riverside as the new location for its facility.

Good News! After a great effort by the Ag students at Cal Poly Pomona, and considerable support from the agriculture industry, our administration has decided to take another look at the land use at Spadra Farm. We will be moving ahead with a strategic planning effort that will involve our agriculture industry partners to help guide us as we plan for the future of the College of Agriculture land resources. Until a final plan is decided on, we will continue to have use of Spadra Farm. Thank you to everyone who is in support of our efforts to save our Educational Farm.
