Services for Diego will be this weekend coming up. The flyer has the dates times and address. Hope his old Titan teammates can make it. Lil story about D or as I called him “Kabooz” he was always the last player at everything he did just like a kabooz. One day I asked him “Do I scare you when I get on you and I talk to you stearn?” he replied “No I get scared when you don’t say nothing to me and just shake your head after I make a easy mistake that we work on everyday at practice “. I told him “You know that I love you wether we win or loose right?” He said “Yeah abd I love you to coach and that’s why I never want to let you down by quitting on myself or the team. You’ve taught me that regardless if I commit an error it’s not the end of life we have to just get back up and dust our self off and get back to work.” I miss just knowing he around..

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of one of our toughest players we’ve ever had. Diego Cortez. Man I’m hurting as a father but I’m happy that I have so many picts of D and so many memories of him. RIP D I regret not reaching out to you last week. God has another plan for you.

Prayers to our very own Coach Joey.

Can all my Titan fam bam and fans please keep Carmen May your prayers. She is currently on a ventilator due to Covid. Carmen is one of our Alumn Diego Cortez mother. She is an awesome person an a typical Titan parent. What is a Titan parent? Well let me tell you when she comes up to you and says “Coach regaña a Diego chingatelo uo no me enojo” translation “Coach yell at Diego kick his ass I don’t get mad he needs it”. I’m keeping her and the whole May family in my thoughts and prayers the whole 2020 year has been very heart breaking for me from loosing many friends to Covid.

Last year was a horrible one for many including us on the Titans. It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of John the younger brother to our very own GM Wesley Duque and the uncle to Wesley “Cheese” Duque. Joh was a great man I always enjoyed the times and talks I had with him I can say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree because he was just like his big bro big Wes sane type of person caring and respectful . He would treat you like you were family we would talk about everything from baseball to personal life. He and I had a life on the road we both used to drive Semi Trucks and our convos were amazing. John will be missed the Duque get together with out him won’t be the same anymore. May you Rest In Peace buddy.

It’s with a very heavy heart that I report that one of our old Titan parents has gained his wings. Mario Lopez Delharo left this earth due to this dreaded virus COVID. I love Mario a lot he was a good man a man of faith a better human a great father. I’m going to miss him and his text he would sporadically send me. About a year ago his son Lobo was fighting for his life and Mario was there day and night praying for him and his love for the lord and faith never left him and Lobo came out of his coma and I truly believe that Mario’s faith in the lord was the deciding factor. I’m heart broken dad I’m in disbelief. Let’s keep the whole Del Haro family in our prayers. One a Titan always a Titan I’ll miss you Mario “MAY THE TITAN FORCE BE WITH YOU” much love brother.
