Hello Hello!
Just popping in to do my seasonal check-in. š The world is on fire and posting social media consistently is taking more spoons than I currently have. I am still here, though, mostly in stories and occasionally commenting on posts.
Iāve been deep in wholesale order dyeing and colorway testing for some new Romancelandia colorways lately. Iāve also been working on a cute ruffle tank which is very weather appropriate since weāre heading into our second week of temps in the mid 90ās here in Vegas.
What are you working on? Do you have any warm weather makes planned?

Seaside - a perfect representation of sand, seafoam and ocean waves.
This colorway is extra special because it was developed by one of my kiddos. I forgot how much I love this one.

Did you know that all of the WSF Shooting Star colorways are non-repeatable?
They are created using leftover dye solution in an effort to make my studio as low-waste as possible. Each batch is small and unique.

Iāve had this post sitting in my drafts all day because I couldnāt come up with a cutesy caption.
āØThe yarn is fluffy.
āØThe colorway is cool and non-repeatable.
āØIf I were to knit something with it, Iād probably choose a raglan pullover and would hold it double with a strand of undyed sock yarn.

Itās and Iām back to working on my D20 scrappy cardigan. Iām calling it The Housecoat of Many Colors.
I just have the sleeves and the neck and button band to finish, then I can block it and start snipping ends.
What WIPs are you working on today?

Itās WIP Wednesday!
Iām ready to separate for the sleeves on my Turtle Dove cardigan. The combo of galaxy twist sock and constellation bouclĆ© is so airy and dreamy! Both yarns used are WSF and the colorway is Whimsy.
Second slide - My big accomplishment this week (and not really a WIP) is the green Felix cardigan that Iāve been working on for years. I started this project in Washington, thought Iād lost it on the drive to Nevada, found it, misplaced skeins, found them, thought about frogging and ultimately decided that it was worth finishing. š®āšØ

Happy New Year!
Thank you all for rocking with me through another year. Get ready for a new yarn club, more in person events, more regular grid posts and maybe a newsletter or two every month.
Did you cast on something new for the new year? Or are you working your way through a WIP?
Iām starting off January with a new cast on - the Turtle Dove Cardigan by . Iām knitting it with one strand of Galaxy Twist Sock and one strand of Constellation BouclĆ© in the Whimsy colorway.
