- Parents must stay in their 🚗vechicles when picking up their car rider students.
- Vehicles must display the 26-27 name placard🪧 to allow students to enter the vehicle, otherwise students will need to be picked up in the office🚪.

The first day of the 26-27 school year is tomorrow!❤️🐯❤️Please be sure to read 📖the email sent by the school/Mr. Deihl to know everything about Monday, Aug. 24th as we had some changes and updates from last year.

- There will be No🚫 breakfast served on Monday, August 24th.
- This year, Breakfast for grades 1-5 will be served in the cafeteria🥣from 9:05 - 9:25 (no one🚫 will be served after 9:25 as student will be going to their classroom).
- ALL car riders🚗 (and guardians) must remain in their vechicles and in line.(This is for dismissal as well - make sure we can see👀 your placard🪧, otherwise you will need to pick up in the office.)
- No one 🚫should park in the ♿️Handicapped spots, except for our students with placards/tags.
- Only staff will be walking students to classrooms. 📚Parents and Guardians can sign in students in the office after 9:20am.

The Dr. Chinnadurai Devadason School Based Health Center is open, with services available for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students. The center is located on the Indian Head Elementary School campus, but all CCPS students are eligible to receive services.

Families of students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals can now fill out an application for the program for the 2026-2027 school year. Students who qualified for free and reduced-price meals last school year must have a new application by Oct. 6 to ensure there is no disruption to a student’s account.
