Did you know that just 10 minutes of reading before bed can make a big difference for kids? ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’›

Try this tonight with your child:

๐Ÿ”ค Pick a book they enjoy
๐Ÿ‘€ Have them point to each word as they read
โ“ Ask, โ€œWhat do you think will happen next?โ€
๐Ÿ’ฌ Afterward, ask them to tell you their favorite part

It doesnโ€™t have to feel like homework, learning can happen in the simplest moments! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Hereโ€™s a fun little reminder for parents and kiddos: the days leading up to school are a great time to get back into a routine! Try moving bedtime and wake-up time a little earlier each day, practice reading for 10โ€“15 minutes, and let your child help pick out their school supplies. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“–

Skip the screens for a little while and have a โ€œYes Day Adventureโ€ with the kids! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ’—

Let each kid pick ONE fun thing to do today, maybe make a fort in the living room, have a backyard picnic, bake cookies, go on a nature walk, have a silly dance party, or end the night with a family movie! ๐Ÿช๐Ÿงบ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŽฌ

It doesnโ€™t have to cost anything or be fancy. Kids remember the time we spent together more than the things we bought them. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ“šโœจ A SIMPLE WAY TO HELP YOUR CHILD BECOME A BETTER READER! โœจ๐Ÿ“š

Want to make reading practice a little easier at home? Try the โ€œI do, we do, you doโ€ method! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

๐Ÿ“– 1. I DO: Read the sentence or page out loud while your child follows along.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง 2. WE DO: Read it together. Let your child join in on words they know.

๐Ÿง’ 3. YOU DO: Have your child read it independently. Give them time to sound out unfamiliar words instead of immediately telling them the answer.

โญ Bonus tip: If they get stuck on a word, ask:
โ€œWhat sound does that letter make?โ€
โ€œWhat word would make sense here?โ€
โ€œCan you look at the picture for a clue?โ€

Keep practice short, positive, and consistent. Even 10 minutes of reading a day can make a difference! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

And remember, struggling with a word doesnโ€™t mean theyโ€™re not learning. Give them time, encouragement, and lots of praise! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Kids learn best when they feel heard and excited about exploring the world around them. Start the morning with curiosity, laughter, and a conversation that makes them think.

Then ask them:
