Our FBLA members recently attended the 2025 State Leadership Conference in Little Rock! 🎉
Congratulations to Ashley Baltz, Blair Baxley, Dar Burger, Logan Cernosek, Carli Chester, Isabel Ivy, Abby Liebhaber, and Anna Lloyd for representing us well and competing in a variety of events.

A special shoutout to Dar Burger, who earned 1st Place in Coding & Programming, and Logan Cernosek, who took 1st Place in Computer Game & Simulation Programming! 🏆🏆

We’re proud to announce that Dar and Logan will advance to the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Anaheim, California! ✈️🎮💻

We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Debbie Hall on being recognized for her 20 years of dedicated service to FBLA. Thank you for your incredible leadership and commitment to our students! 💙🎉

Congratulations to PHS FBLA students who competed at the Spring Conference on Friday, January 31st. Carli Chester placed 1st in Job Interview and Ashley Baltz, Blair Baxley, & Abby Liebhaber placed 1st in Visual Design!

These students along with Dar Burger, Presley Agee, Evin Kerley, & Logan Cernosek will attend the State Leadership Conference in April at Little Rock to compete for their spot at Nationals!

We need 10 more business/community members from Pocahontas to be judges for our FBLA Spring Conference/student competitions on Friday, January 31st at BRTC. The events are usually finished by noon. Judges are given a rubric and score sheets. You will watch high school students present their business presentations, complete job interviews, give speeches, etc and asked to judge the event you are over, based on your rubric and score sheets. If you would be interested in helping with this event please leave your email address in the comments and Mrs. Blalock will reach out to you with more information. Thank you!!

Food Drive!
We will be collecting non-perishable food items now through Tuesday, December 17th. Members who bring items for the food drive will be invited to a FBLA Christmas Pizza Party during lunch on Wednesday, December 18th. All food items will be disbursed to students who need food over Christmas Break. Please be generous.
Non-perishable items include: canned goods, soups, noodles, pop tarts, cereal, little debbie cakes, drinks, etc.

FBLA members volunteered today at Together We Foster to help give back to our community. Together We Foster is such a great resource for our community to have to help support foster children and their families. Thank you to all the members that spent time today helping out! For any student that needs community service hours, they are always in need of volunteers to help out.
