We are excited to share a volunteer leadership opportunity with Bloom Early Learning!

This is a meaningful role for someone who wants to use their financial expertise to support equitable access to high-quality early learning for all children. The Board Treasurer helps guide financial oversight, supports budgeting and forecasting, and partners with staff and board leadership to ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide financial oversight and ensure accurate, timely reporting to the Board
- Review monthly financial statements and monitor organizational performance
- Partner with staff and Board on financial strategy, risk management, and long-term planning
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director on financial matters

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with budgeting and nonprofit financial management
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to a diverse board
- Commitment to Bloom’s mission and values
- Willingness to actively participate in board and committee work
