MISSING PERSON:
According to widespread social media posts and a confirmation from Lt. Det. Les McFarland with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department; Josh Obrochta is missing.
Family and friends are searching for him.
Josh Obrochta is 34 years old and is 5’11”, approximately 170 lbs with dark brown hair.
Josh was last seen Friday, August 7th, around 5:00 PM, leaving his home on SR 17 near Lake Latonka.
He was driving a black 2009 Chevrolet Silverado Duramax diesel pickup truck. The truck has a piece of trim missing along the driver-side panel, with duct tape covering the area.

I am going to be replacing my raft on July 3rd. I would like to offer my old raft to anyone on the lake. The boards need to be replaced but the barrels are all good.

The lake is looking great for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Primary vegetation is Large-leaf pondw**d.

Large-leaf pondw**d (Potamogeton amplifolius) is a beneficial native aquatic plant naturally found in the northern lakes region of Indiana. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) notes that, unlike invasive species, this plant provides essential habitat for fish and food for waterfowl. In addition, it absorbs excess nutrients from the water.

Keep in mind, the weather for the coming week, sunny and hot, brings on algae growth.
