Hey 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 families, Lando is for you!! He would like to study in the US just for one semester

🇩🇪 Lando 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 and loves it! He would love to see what it is like to live on an American Farm. Can you help make his dream come this fall by becoming his host family? He will only be here for one short semester!!
🇩🇪 🧑‍🌾 🚴 Lando, a 15-year-old boy from Germany. He will turn 16 in October. Back home in Germany, Lando lived in a warm and loving household with his parents, Mike and Elke, and his younger brother, Tamino. Two furry companions, Coconut Kiss and Moonlight, the family's two cats, add joy to their lives. Together, they often engaged in various activities, from playing games and doing sports to embarking on short trips. Lando has a soft spot for animals, having previously enjoyed a fulfilling internship on a farm, caring for chickens and other creatures.In his leisure time, he would spend quality moments with his friends, either visiting each other or bonding over online video games. Back at home, Lando diligently tackled his homework, enjoyed reading books, and found relaxation in assembling jigsaw puzzles. However, his true passion lay in sports, particularly mountain biking, which he pursues with enthusiasm in the nearby forest. His proficiency in handling trails showcases his love for the outdoors. Alongside biking, Lando has a keen interest in Judo, surfing, and skiing. His love for the waves makes surfing an integral part of his summer holidays, where he showcases impressive skills.Grateful for the opportunity to be part of an American family and eager to experience the authentic American way of life, Lando expresses his sincere appreciation for his host family's kindness and generosity. He looks forward to sharing his own culture and customs while learning more about theirs during his stay.In closing, Lando expressed his heartfelt thanks to his soon-to-be host family, exuding enthusiasm and anticipation for the enriching experiences that awaited him in the United States.

As we all are experiencing snow and cold weather and most of you are stuck at home on this wintery day.

🇩🇪Anni from Germany (16yrs) is at home dreaming of coming to Indiana as an exchange student. Read about her below!

Interests:
🐶 She has no pets but would enjoy snuggling with a puppy or two!
🍰 Cooking/Baking- Cookies, Cakes, Macaroons etc YUM!

“Family. It gives you a feeling in your chest. It is some kind of warmth. It feels like your heart is on fire. It feels like your soul is singing and dancing. You feel safe because they love you and you can actually be who you are without being judged. Sometimes you even feels so happy and blessed that you can not breath for two seconds because all the joy you feel is overwhelmingly fabulous.
