🇺🇸 Preserving the Past & Celebrating America’s 250th! 🇺🇸

Our 5th graders had a special visit from Olivia Herrel with the Henry County Historical Society - KY! Olivia shared with students why studying history is so important and how artifacts help us understand the people, places, and stories that came before us.

Students had the opportunity to examine real artifacts from Henry County’s past and use them to learn more about the history of our community. Then, they became historians themselves! ❤️🤍💙

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, students created their own artifacts representing life in 2026 to be included in a time capsule for the Henry County Historical Society. What seems ordinary to us today may tell an incredible story to future generations!

We loved giving our students the chance to be part of preserving Henry County’s history. 🕰️🇺🇸

Youth Baseball Camp provided by the Henry County High School baseball team will be offered on Aug. 29 from 9am to noon on the high school baseball field. This camp is open to students kindergarten through sixth grade at a cost of $25 per camper, which includes a t-shirt. Campers should bring their own water bottle and equipment and be dressed in proper baseball attire. To register, please click the link:
