Alameda County One Hundred Club In 1974, the Alameda County 100 Club was founded by Martin Kauffman, a retired land developer. High School.

We are a non profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to help & honor the families of peace officers and firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty in Alameda County, California Martin had taken a trip to Chicago and was impressed when he learned about the 100 Club there. In 1974 two young police officers were shot and killed at Oakland’s Madison Jr. Without hesitation, Martin gave the two widow’s of the slain officers $1,000.00 each from his own pocket. He then got a group of friends together and formed the Alameda County 100 Club.

Dave Ivers, owner of Risen Timber Creations and Total Garage came by this evening and presented this amazing tribute to the Martin C Kauffman Alameda County 100 Club to Patty Green Goodman. It is awesome and so well made. Dave supports all law enforcement and firefighters everywhere. I will be taking this to our April board meeting and presenting it to the club.
