You do not need to hit rock bottom for breathwork to change your life.

For so many women, the shift happens much earlier than that.

It happens in the moment they realize they have been functioning through stress for so long that it has started to feel normal. They are getting things done, showing up for everyone, keeping the business moving, and carrying more than anyone can see.

From the outside, they look fine. Inside, they feel emotionally full, overstimulated, and tired in a way that rest is not fixing.

This is part of why breathwork can be so life-changing.

It gives your body a safe place to do what it has not had room to do on its own. To soften. To release. To move some of the emotional weight and nervous system overload that has been building beneath the surface.

And when that starts to happen, you often leave feeling lighter, clearer, calmer, and more like yourself again.

That is the power of this work. Not because it is trendy. Not because it is dramatic. Because it helps your body stop holding everything and finally start to process and release.

If you have been craving a deeper reset, I offer 1:1 breathwork sessions both in person and virtually.

DM me BREATHWORK if you want the details.

I truly cannot think of a better kind of self-care day than starting with a 90-minute breathwork session and then letting your body keep receiving through a float, assisted stretch, and red light sauna.

This is the kind of care that goes beyond checking a box or squeezing in something “healthy” for yourself. It is the kind of support that helps you soften, regulate, release, and come back to yourself in a real way.

For the woman who is always managing everything, making decisions, showing up for everyone else, and carrying more than most people realize, this kind of full-body care matters. Sometimes what you need is not just a break, but a deeper reset that helps your body finally feel safe enough to exhale.

I’m so glad I found my friends at .llc to support me in that. Between the assisted stretch, red light sauna, and sensory deprivation floats, they offer such a beautiful extension of the work I care so deeply about: supporting women in feeling better in their bodies.

If you’ve been needing a reset, this is your reminder that you do not have to wait until you are completely depleted to give yourself this kind of care.

And honestly… that is not a joke.

So many women have been conditioned to believe that rest has to be earned, that slowing down is laziness, and that tending to themselves comes after everything else is handled. But when you are constantly giving, producing, responding, and pushing through, your body eventually starts asking for something different.

Sometimes what looks like “falling behind” is actually your system asking for care. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is pause long enough to come back to yourself.

For the woman who is used to holding it all together, nervous system regulation is not extra. It is part of how you stay well, stay present, and stay connected to yourself in the middle of real life.

So if you needed the reminder today, here it is: taking care of your body, your emotions, and the parts of you that still need tenderness is not a distraction from your life. It is part of supporting the woman living it.

If this hit home, DM me REGULATE to book your private session today.

You’re getting things done, showing up for your family, keeping up with work, answering the texts, handling what needs to be handled, and still feeling like your body never fully catches up.

Your mind keeps going, your patience feels thinner than usual, and even when you rest, it does not feel like the kind of rest that truly restores you.

That is the kind of exhaustion we had in mind when creating NOURISH.

This intimate Full Moon Breathwork + Reiki experience is for the woman who does not just need a break, but a deeper exhale.

The woman who has been overstimulated for so long that it has started to feel normal. The woman who is craving a safe space to soften, release some of the emotional weight she has been carrying, and leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more like herself again.

Maila will be guiding the breathwork and Nicole will be doing Reiki to support the experience, so this evening is designed to be both grounding and deeply nourishing from start to finish.

We’re keeping this very intimate with only 4 spots, which means every woman in the room will have space to feel held and supported.

NOURISHTuesday, April 28th at 6 PMIn person Breathwork + Reiki Group Session90 minutes | $95Limited to 4 women
If this feels like the kind of reset your body has been asking for, DM me FULL MOON and I’ll send you the details.

There is a kind of burnout that does not always look dramatic.

It can look like getting everything done, showing up for everyone, keeping the business moving, making the dinners, answering the texts, and still feeling like you are carrying something heavy that you cannot quite name.

It can look like being so used to holding it all together that you barely notice how tense your body feels, how short your patience has become, or how long it’s been since you felt fully present for yourself.

This is what I see so often in the women I work with. They are not falling apart publicly. They are capable, loving, high-functioning, and deeply overwhelmed in ways most people around them do not even realize.

That is why this work matters.

My 1:1 breathwork sessions create a safe space for your body to release what it has been holding and get out of survival mode, so you can move out of overwhelm and feel lighter, clearer, calmer, and more like yourself again.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, so whether you want to be supported in the room with me or from the comfort of your own home, there is space for you here.

If you have been craving a real reset, DM me RESET and I’ll send you the details.

Day to day life isn’t a cake walk.

Even for a life coach and somatic healer.

Social media isn’t real and I’m not calm, happy, and stress free all the time.

I have a lot of stressors in my life, too.
I’m rebuilding an entirely new life in a new state.
Redefining my business, no longer doing hair after 15 beautiful years.
Figuring out being a mom to a very empathic little boy.
Building an entirely new community away from the family I’ve always had close by.

The difference, though, is that I have the tools to help me come back to my body.
To help me regulate my emotions and nervous system through all the ups and downs.

And you can too.

Life will never be perfect, but you can know what works best for YOU and YOUR body every time things take a turn.

Healing begins when you learn to listen to what your body’s been holding.

To your signals.
To your patterns.
To the part of you that says “I can’t keep doing it this way.”

Inside Zenith, this is exactly what we practice.
Tools that meet you where you are.
Support that doesn’t ask you to perform wellness, but feel it.

You don’t have to be calm all the time to be healing.
You just need to know how to come home to yourself when it counts.

How do you show yourself grace?

I have been having a rough go of it with an allergic reaction and getting sick, again (toddler parent life 🫠) and I catch myself thinking all too often about what I should be doing instead of just getting the rest that I clearly need.

And I keep coming back to the same conclusion every time that ugly belief about productivity and ‘usefulness’ rears its ugly head - life is too precious to always be doing things. My life is too beautiful, my body needs too much care to not be able to just stop, rest and appreciate my surroundings.

The things we’ve been taught by society and family about always needing to be productive are bu****it. Our bodies need to be loved, nurtured and cared for, just like our children, just like our businesses, just like our relationships.

Every time I get down on myself for needing rest, I remind myself of this and find something I enjoy doing while I rest, like reading a good book or putting on my favorite movie.

So lean in. Get uncomfortable with being still. And show yourself a little grace!

👇🏽Tell me, how do you show yourself grace?

I’ve been seeing all these posts about being hard on yourself for not accomplishing enough this year, then proceeding to list all the amazing accomplishments you’ve achieved and it got me thinking.

I love this new trend and the praise each individual is giving themselves, this is exactly the kind of reflection you should be doing.

AND if it’s making you feel less than, that’s ok, too, friend.

Even if your ONE accomplishment is that you survived this year, that’s a big fu***ng accomplishment and you should be so proud.

Survival is a HUGE accomplishment.

You are seen, you are loved my friend.
